Sign Up to Volunteer with the 2025 Youth Market Turkey Show

We're looking for volunteers to help with the Youth Market Turkey Show (YMTS)! This is a great chance for you to support young people in agriculture.

When & Where You're Needed

The Youth Market Turkey Show takes place at the NC State Fairgrounds in the Kelley Building. We have two key dates for volunteers:

• Weigh-In Day: Wednesday, October 8th
• Show Day: Thursday, October 9th

You don't have to work both days. We have flexible 1/2 or full-day (4 or 8-hour) shifts available, and you can sign up for one or both days. We need data entry, turkey caregivers, help direct/answer questions, hand out ribbons, etc.

Who Can Volunteer?

Anyone can help! We welcome a variety of volunteers, including agents, teachers, college students, and anyone with a passion for agriculture. No experience is necessary, and youth can even volunteer with adult supervision.
