Agriculture is more important than ever, especially in North Carolina!

Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler announced in May that NC Ag's impact has reached a record breaking $111.1 billion of economic impact.  That is a jump from $103.2 billion in 2023.

For youth interested in Agriculture, there are more opportunities than ever!  With poultry making up the biggest portion of North Carolina's Agricultural economic impact, youth wanting to learn more about poultry makes sense more than ever.  Check out the fun ways youth can learn about poultry at go.ncsu.edu/poultryyouth. It is not too late to register for 4-H Avian Bowl/4-H Skillathon, and 4-H Poultry Judging on July 9th and 10th on campus.
