NC State's Farm Animal Days Happening Now

Check out Farm Animal Days at the NC State Beef Unit, 4505 Mid Pines Rd. Apr 19-21 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.


Event is free but, registering is requested.


How many different types of farm animals will you see?!


Poultry will be part of experience!  Our NC celebrity turkeys, Chocolate and Chip, which received a Presidential Thanksgiving pardon in 2022, will make an appearance at Farm Animal Days too!  





Farm Animal Days gives children a chance to see and touch farm animals and learn about agriculture; tractors will also be on display. The event is designed for school field trips (pre-school through first grade). Families and individuals are still welcome to attend.
