4-H Avian Bowl is fun way for youth to learn some 'Egg'cellent facts about poultry!  Wondering how to get started?




2023 4-H Avian Bowl Quick Start Guide

  1. Get the 4-H Avian Bowl Manual FREE online

  2. Gather 2-4 youth of same age to form a team (Seniors 14-18, Juniors 8-13 years of age); Individuals will be assigned a team

  3. Get the 2023 4-H Avian Bowl Study Packet listed below (packet is a smaller amount of material taken from the 4-H Avian Bowl Manual - it is available last day of prior year)

  4. Study, Study, Study, Practice, Practice, Practice

  5. Submit Questions by June 1, 2023.  Each team must submit 25 toss up and 5 bonus questions that are either Multiple Choice, Spelling, or Short Answer.

  6. Submit Registration by June 15, 2023.  Only teams that have submitted questions will be eligible to register.

  7. Compete July 18, 2023 at state-level 4-H Avian Bowl Event in Raleigh

  8. Winning Senior team - go to Nationals November 15 & 16, 2023 in Louisville, KY - this team wins paid registration & hotel stay to National event
